A downloadable game

In this difficult 2D Platformer, control your rocket-powered exploration vehicle as you explore a dangerous cave for diamonds, but be careful of the dangerous spikes, and make sure not to overheat your ship's systems!

This was created for the PolyMars x Scorespace GameJam  (July 26th, 2024 and July 29th, 2024).

Jam Concept: Speedrunnable
Theme: Overheat

This is also my first ever (sort of serious) game by the way, so there may be bugs and such, also the game is quite difficult, but any feedback that you have is well appreciated!

Made in Unity, but unfortunately I couldn't get a proper leaderboard working so instead the game just records your best time via playerprefs.

Other than that, hope you enjoy!

Install instructions

1. Download the .rar file.
2. Extract the .rar file using any file extraction app (such as WinRAR).
3. Open the folder and run the .exe.
4. Enjoy the game!

Nicely done for the first game. It's difficult :P! Fun idea for Speedrun. Checkpoints would have been helpful.
